My Three Month Bread-iversary

I am not a great baker.

Luckily, I enjoy baking enough that I have started to get better at it. I purchased this sourdough starter kit from Ballerina Farm a few months ago, and it has been a lifesaver on my bread-making journey.

Three months ago, I vowed to stop buying bread products from the grocery store. My poor husband was terrified of making burgers for weeks because it would have to be eaten between two very dense, very thick, homemade sourdough buns.

Luckily, I perfected my recipe before our family visited for a barbecue. Here are some photos from my bread journey.
