Fresh Apartment-Grown Pesto

I have a history of burning toast and killing plants. My toast burns because I forget I wanted ten more seconds of toasting; the death of my plants remains a mystery.

Luckily, my most recent gardening discovery has been a huge success. Not to mention, the number of burnt slices of toast has gone down considerably since I started baking my bread.
