August Slipped Away Into A Moment In Time

August. The month that I was born. The month that I turned 24 years old. Also, the month during which, two years ago, Michael asked me to marry him.

August. The hottest month of the year in Miami. Maybe that explains my love for the sun?

August. The month that flew by with immense speed this year. Four months have passed since our wedding. Four months of being a wife. It has now been over one year since I left New York.

August. A month of many books. I read three books so far this month. I am almost done with my fourth.

Small Buisness Suggestion

Meek Oak

Finally, after a year of living in my home, I have started to decorate the big white wall that overpowers my living room. Starting with this little strawberry home! I have been wanting to order one of these handmade woven homes made by Samantha Montella at Meek Oak since I stumbled across her page last summer.

I have always preffered movies over T.V. shows. Something about watching a movie allows me to become fully enveloped by the story.

Michael and I watched The Age of Adaline this week and I loved it. What a fun, magical love story perfect for a cozy night.

I give the movie 5/5 stars!

Four things that I am grateful for are…

  • the health of my family
  • having the time to get enough sleep and cook myself healthy meals
  • my sister has had a great first week of college
  • a husband who makes me feel loved and special
